With one foot in the world of climate philanthropy and the other in the world of outdoor media production, Addie is committed to moving people to take action on the environment. She has built her career around storytelling for change: first with Ashoka and later with Patagonia and Nike, working to craft and execute prominent sustainability and social impact campaigns for the brands. After getting her masters in sustainable development and climate policy, Addie led communications for a team at the United Nations Development Programme before managing Apple’s environmental grants program. Most recently, she started Where The Climate Things Are, a media, events and storytelling platform to activate the outdoor community around climate, and co-hosts the The Trail Ahead media series, fostering interracial dialogue around equity, access and inclusion in the outdoor community. Originally from Maine, she grew up in close proximity to nature, prompting a love of trail running, paddling and fly fishing that drives her climate advocacy work to this day. Addie believes we cannot take true climate action until *everyone* has a seat at the table, and it will require all of us to make and share that space, together. Addie holds a BA from Brown University and an MPA from Columbia University.
