Runners for Public Lands is excited to announce our collaboration with Jefferson County Open Space and Trail Runner Volunteers to bring a summer evening Trail Work Series to the Colorado Front Range!
Join us to learn about the geological, ecological, and cultural importance of our surroundings while we work on trail maintenance projects, including much needed erosion remediation.

Founded in 1972 as a land conservation organization, Jeffco Open Space, funded with a one-half of one percent sales tax, contributes to city and park district projects, has preserved more than 56,000 acres, manages 27 open space parks, and 265+ miles of trails in Jefferson County, Colorado.
Trail Runner Volunteers is a dedicated group of local runners who want to play an active role in maintaining trails for all users. Since their inception in the fall/winter of 2018, the Trail Runner Volunteers have accumulated 2,000+ volunteer hours while maintaining 50+ miles of trail throughout Jefferson County.
