Curious to know we achieved together in 2023? Take a look at our 2023 Annual Report.

Our 2023 Annual Report covers highlights from launching three community-building programs, a race director resource hub, and a national advocacy agenda to scaling well beyond the California Central Coast and growing our organizational capacities and partnerships.

You can read the letter from our Board President Vic Thasiah and Executive Director Kat Baker below:

“We continue to believe that every person has a right to clean air and water — and healthy landscapes — to run wild and free. We also continue to believe in the power of activating 65 million runners in the United States — the largest, most active, most diverse, and most geographically distributed recreational group in the country — to protect the environment.

While it’s important to take stock of our accomplishments and the challenges we’ve faced as plans outpace budgets, our eyes are on the future and serving our community by further developing our Everyone Runs Fund, Trail Work Series, and Ambassador programs; our race director resources and environmental stewardship toolkit for runners; and our national environmental advocacy agenda.

With your ongoing support we look forward in 2024 to adding program staff, more board members and ambassadors, and runners like you to our community. A special thanks to RPL’s outgoing board members and staff. We wouldn’t be where we are without you and we are committed to building on the strong foundation you helped to build.”
