This year at TRE, RPL is partnering up with Nomadix, Teva, and Fractel to share what running does for us individually and collectively.

We are excited to be bringing “Run with Heart in Mind,” RPL’s community-based activation to The Running Event this year. This interactive exhibit, which we first introduced this year at our five-year anniversary on Earth Day 2024, is a gathering space for road and trail runners to share the who, what, where, and why they run.

Through the simple but powerful act of putting pen to paper, runners from all around the country and world will be answering 6 questions, sharing what running does for them individually and collectively. With over 60 million people who identify as runners, we make up the largest human-powered recreation group in the country, which means we can do a whole lot of good when we come together. And right now, that is very much needed.

The 6 questions we’re bringing with us.

  1. What inspires you to get outside?
  2. Where’s your next running adventure?
  3. How does running change you?
  4. What does running mean to you?
  5. Why do you run?
  6. Where does running take you?

If you’re coming to TRE, we should be easy to find: look for the 64-foot wooden sign in the Switchback Area. Come by, pick a card, and tell us where running takes you.

A big thank you our brand partners for this event: Nomadix, Fractel, and Teva.

This work doesn’t happen in isolation, and we’re thankful to be partnering up with these brands to bring this campaign to everyone at TRE. Make sure to drop by each of our brand partner’s booth at TRE, and don’t forget to visit us in the Switchback Area. And if you aren’t going to be at TRE this year, we’ll be sharing glimpses into the exhibit online. We encourage you to engage with us there, sharing what running means and looks like to you! Below are a few pictures from our 5 Year Anniversary celebration at Topa Topa Brewing in April 2024, where we first introduced the campaign.
